‘YOUR whisky, sir.’ Sara was standing holding out a glass, her blue eyes gleaming appreciatively as they swept over his naked body.

She was wearing a blue satin gown that fell to her feet. Tiny straps looped over her slender shoulders, and the fine lace inset in the bodice plunged to her navel. Guido didn’t think …

Taking the glass from her hand, he downed it in one go and curved his other hand around her waist to hold her. He placed the glass on the nearest flat service and, burrowing his hand through the silken mass of her hair, clasped her nape and bent his head, desperate to taste her luscious lips, to bury himself in her sexy body.

Lifting his head, he looked down into her sparkling eyes. ‘I like the gown,’ he husked, running a finger beneath a fine strap.

Sara was shocked, but breathless, the feel of his hot, wet body against her own igniting a burning heat inside her. ‘You bought it for me,’ she breathed, looking up into his dark face. She saw his desire—and something more she did not recognise.

The past two weekends Guido had presented her with quite a few pieces of outrageously expensive lingerie, and she wore them as some kind of defence against the overwhelming emotions he aroused in her. She only had to look at herself in the mirror to know it was not the real Sara who shared his bed and his body, simply the Sara he wanted her to be. In that way she kept a little of her true self back, but right at this moment holding back was the last thing on her mind …

‘I have great taste,’ he murmured. ‘And, oh, Dio, I need the taste, the feel of you around me so badly.’ He groaned, and the straps were slipped from her shoulders. His hands palmed her breasts as the gown slipped to pool at her feet.

He bent his dark head and he drew one perfect nipple into his mouth, rolling it around his tongue. Sara shuddered helplessly in response, her hands reaching around his broad shoulders, holding him to her as he bestowed the same pleasure on the other.

Instantly she was burning for him. His strong hands lifted her, his face a taut mask of passion as he backed her against the wall and wrapped her legs around his waist. Her fingers dug into his flesh, and she cried out as without any preliminaries he thrust into her hot, sleek body. Filling her, possessing her, driving her wild, until she convulsed around him as he spilled his seed inside her.

Slowly he lowered her to the ground, his arms folding around her. He rested his head against hers, his broad chest heaving. ‘Did I hurt you?’ he rasped.

Sara sighed—a long, shaky sound. All the times they had made love she had never known Guido to lose control until now. ‘Surprised me, maybe. But hurt—no,’ she murmured, and pressed her lips to his shoulder.

‘Thank you, Sara.’

What was he thanking her for? she wondered, and was still wondering when he carried her into the bedroom.
